FBA uses flowing well pressures and production rates from short post-frac flow tests to estimate fracture and reservoir properties that drive long-term productivity - typically 6-12 months sooner than classical rate-transient analysis on long-term production data.
FBA can estimate hydraulic fracture properties (including mobile fracture volume, conductivity, and half-length), reservoir or SRV permeability, and support long-term production forecasts from early-time data with limited field cost.
